Events and Activities in the coming months

The Backwell Environment Trust organises several events each year aimed at encouraging visitors of all ages to come and enjoy different aspects of our beautiful woodland reserves. These events have typically included themed walks or hands-on learning experiences.

Keep an eye on this section for information on future events, once confirmed.  We hope you will come and enjoy these with us!

Felton Common Guided Walk

Sunday 7th July 2019

We have arranged a guided walk on the Felton Common local nature reserve.  The Common covers 100 acres and has a mixture of open calcareous grassland and scrub - plus some interesting archaeological features.  The walk will start at 2:30 from the car park on the common, opposite the church.  The walk should take around 90 minutes, including a stop for tea and biscuits!

Moth Trapping

Summer/Autumn 2019

We hope to organise further moth trapping and identification events this year, so keep an eye on this page for details.
